About Us
US Wind Supply was founded in an effort to help companies throughout greater Cleveland expand their operations into the wind industry. As the industry demand rose our business model shifted to working exclusively with turbine manufacturers focusing on their supply chain needs. We have a major added value over other third party brokers in that we have over 100yrs of combined manufacturing experience with our current staff. We feel that our diverse manufacturing experience plays an important role in bringing qualified US parts makers to the turbine OEM. This experience has also given us a very large diverse supply base to work with
Patrick Manfroni – Patrick is the founder and President of USWS. Patrick’s background includes private equity investment and other entrepreneurial ventures in the sustainability consulting field.
John Butkowski – John has over 40 years experience in multiple disciplines in engineering and manufacturing. John is also the president and founder of the Lorain County Manufacturing Council whose member companies include over 100 manufacturers
Jim Weaver – Jim has over 35 years of manufacturing experience in large custom engineered speed reducers and large gearing primarily for the steel and material handling industries. He was also the Founder and General Manager of "off site" small gear division for The Horsburgh and Scott Co called gear Tech Inc. As Principal and CEO/COO the division was spun off and acquired by Mr. Weaver in 1997.
